It is unfortunate that you have chosen to make the process of responding to your survey so complicated when so many easy to use alternatives exist. I can only guess that you meant this as a way to make the responses more thoughtful, but my reaction, as I suspect will be others, is that you are doing this to discourage responses. Such a pity. I have decided to decline to respond.

This is a longitudinal study, meaning the same methods, same questions, and exact comparisons over what is now almost twenty years.

Your opinion has been noted and I suspect will be included in the research paper.
